History and Overview of True Treasure Ministries

• In 2015, True Treasure Counseling began by coming alongside churches in Western Mass to provide Biblical Counseling for people who were stuck and/or suffering and seeking a biblical approach to address their situation.
• In 2018, True Treasure Counseling became True Treasure Ministries as it added a Biblical Counselors Training Program – Great Awakening Discipleship Academy.
• In January 2020, TTM became an official ACBC Certified Training Center.
• In December 2021, TTM became recognized as 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
• In July 2023, TTM expanded to serve Middlesex county

• Who is it for?
• Men and women pursuing change based on Scripture and pleasing God.
• We are equipped to counsel an array of issues.
• We primarily counsel adults (18+). If you are seeking youth counsel, please contact us.
• Where do we counsel?
• We prefer to meet in person but are able to meet virtually.
• For in person meetings, our counselors are blessed to work with churches in Hampden, Hampshire and Middlesex Counties to meet at their site.

• To help local churches leverage their time and resources

• An ACBC approved 30-hour course in Biblical Counseling Basics.

• Who is this for?
• Men and women who are passionate about discipleship and helping others through trying times.
• Men and women who desire to learn, sharpen or refresh their knowledge of God’s Word and how to apply it to unique and/or everyday situations.
• Specifically: Pastors, Elders, Deacons, Ministry Leaders, Small Group Leaders, Church Members, Aspiring Counselors and Students.

• Why does Awakening exist?
• To support the Church in her efforts to teach the Gospel and improve the discipleship skills of the Saints (Matt. 28:19-20).
• To leverage the gifts and experiences of Christians to minister to their neighbor effectively (2 Cor. 1:3-9).
• To equip the Saints to support their local church, love their neighbor and advance the biblical counseling movement (2 Tim. 2:1-2).
